The Mid-South Conference will resume tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 at Campbellsville University when the Patriots (31-25-1) will take on the host Tigers (31-18) in an elimination game. It is a rematch of the tournament’s opening game that St. Catharine won 9-3.
The winner of tonight’s game will face Shawnee State tomorrow, needing to beat the Bears twice in order to win the tournament. Campbellsville has already secured a spot in next week’s regional by winning the regular season conference title. If the Bat Pats win tonight, the second automatic bid from the Mid-South will go to the survivor of the Shawnee/St. Catharine game(s).
