BLAIR AND STRATON NAMED NAIA ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN

The St. Catharine College Baseball Team continues to be blessed with quality student-athletes as senior Adam Blair and junior Neal Straton were named NAIA Academic All-American.  Both were members of the MSC Academic Team as well, joining five other Patriots.

To qualify for NAIA Academic honors, players must have an overall grade point average of 3.5 or better.  Blair graduated with honors this spring and Straton will return for his senior year.  Blair was also named Academic All-American last year.

For the last nine years, the Patriots have had atleast one Academic All-American and 11 overall.  13 SC players have reached Academic All-American status.

"We are extremely proud of Neal and Adam," added Luther Bramblett.  "They are both great kids, hard workers and deserve everything.  It's great to see our players do well on and off the field; that's what its all about."
