The St. Catharine College Women’s Soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to the Georgetown Tigers in a Mid South Conference matchup yesterday at Nelson County High School.
The Tigers scored once in each half to claim the victory. The Patriots had a several chances to score, with the best being a free kick late in the game that Morgan Ludwig passed to Caitlin Campbell. Campbell then slotted the ball into the Tiger box for Emily Caras. Caras' shot missed just over the bar. St. Catharine took six shots with only two on goal while Georgetown managed twelve shots with six on goal.
The Lady Patriots will be back in action on Tuesday when the Patriots travel to Campbellsville University. The game will start at 6:00 pm EDT and will be followed by a men’s game at 8:00 pm.
