Patriot forward Kasei Evans was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Monday in an announcement made by the conference office. The junior from Milwaukee averaged 23.7 points and 6.7 rebounds for game as the Patriots won three games last week.
Evans opened the week with 30 points and seven rebounds in a 113-78 win over No. 12-ranked Olivet Nazarene (ILL.) University. She scored 18 points, grabbed three rebounds and had four assists in a 65-57 victory over Cumberland (Tenn.) University. She finished last week with 23 points and 10 rebounds in the Patriots’ 79-54 win over West Virginia Tech.
For the week Evans shot 55 percent from the field (28-51) and was 14-19 from the foul line.
Evans transferred to St. Catharine this year from Meramec Community College in St. Louis.
