Tyler McKenty, from Marshall County High School signed to play for the Men's Soccer team in fall 2012.
Coach Wolz is very excited about the future of the men's soccer program at St Catharine College and one of the reasons is the signing of midfielder Tyler McKenty. Tyler has scored 48 goals and has 28 assists in his four years at Marshall County High School. In his senior year he was overwhelmingly named Region One Player of the Year. Tyler is well known as one of the most productive, talented, and exciting players in the history of Marshall County High School soccer.
Head Coach Tim Wolz says about Tyler, "We are so excited about having Tyler join our team. He is a player that will have a positive impact on our sqaud immediately, and will only improve as he gets experience and playing time."
Tyler came to St Catharine from the University of Louisville Team Camp this past summer where he was seen by Coach Wolz. "I think he was one of the top players in the camp and I knew that he was going to be an important player in college, so I started recruiting him immediately. He is a good player but an even better young person. A perfect start for the future of our program."
